In up North Wisconsin by the UP, which is really Wisconsin cause they are all Packer fans – we gotta a sayin…. It’s da cheese! So ifyer havin’ a good time wit da in-laws or neighbors from acorss da lake, and yer all drinking beers and don wanna say dats why tings er so good, we just go, “y’know mary, dats some good cheese!” and people agree. “Its da cheese, they say” God I heard about some truck keelin over cause da driver was going for a roadie or turning 560 up da dial ta something else and whoose – cheese party. Da truckw hipped over, and the firemen had ta come pick dat up. I wish the whole of the truck dumped on the forest by my house so I could have a reason to leave the wood burning fire other than get more wood. Gotta love cheese.

Hey, Them baseball cowboys went and won a game yesterday, i went there to make sure. Gotta love that grilling, mmm mmm!

I like to bring in the new year with some old country cheer and a fistful of faith.

Not the religious kind, but faith in Wisconsin. I think about the land, the lakes, and the land some more.

What a great place we have here, let’s enjoy it with a walk this weekend, just don’t forget the snowshoes and

that new balm oil behind your stove to kick start your best mule if you are trekking with pack.

I got a great big wood tv, the blacks and whites both come in sort of grey, but i can still make out the parades on the holidays and know a good show when I see one. Here is a video from just that vision that I was born with, here it is, a segment from, The Wurst Show!

For those of you without radios or a fine neighbor nearby, I bring news. It has snowed in Wisconsin. Rough weather at least 20 miles east and south, it only gets colder west and north. My visability was quite limited yesterday and  I moved slow with old snow shoes. The leather was worn and the storm was unexpected. I aim to repair them today and get them dogs ready, we have logs to move tomorrow.
